On March 3, Schulich alumnae were treated to an insightful and research-based workshop on High Performance Negotiation Skills for Women with presenter Leigh Thompson, J. Jay Gerber Distinguished Professor of Dispute Resolution and Organizations; Professor of Management & Organizations; Director of Kellogg Team and Group Research Center; Professor of Psychology, Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Organized by our Kellogg Schulich Women (KSW) alumni association and open to all Schulich alumni, this powerful presentation shared practical advice and strategies to help all feel more confident in their negotiation strategies.

| Schulich Alumna Shares Career Journey at Women in Leadership Conference

The Women in Leadership (WIL) Schulich Student Club hosted their annual Inspire to Aspire Case Competition and Conference on March 4, which included an engaging keynote from Caitlyn Bertone (iBBA ‘16, MACC ‘17), Senior Consultant, Business Transformation, EY. Students appreciated hearing about Caitlyn’s career journey and the practical insights shared, such as the importance of taking time to build your network, valuing the friendships you make, and always being open to taking calls. It was a great conference of learning and networking that was enjoyed by all.

| On March 18, Schulich hosted Developers’ Den XII, Canada’s longest-running and most prestigious international real estate case competition. The event welcomed 12 student teams, 12 industry leaders as judges, more than 150 guest spectators, and 16 generous sponsors for a captivating case that challenged future industry leaders to present creative proposals that saw an intersection of real estate and environmental, social, and governance issues.
