Students and Student Organizations can submit events to JumboLife! Add your event by Thursday at 12 noon each week to be discoverable via the Jumbo Digest.

Celebrate Brown and Blue Day on Homecoming Weekend. Dress in your best Brown and Blue and stop by the Mayer Campus Center upper patio after 12 noon (while supplies last) for a delicious soft serve ice cream with...of course...brown and blue sprinkles, sponsored by OCL. Make a sign for the next day's athletics games, also on the Campus Center patio and sponsored by the Bookstore.

Come to the annual Homecoming Block Party. Food and fun for all before the Homecoming Football game. Free food, bar area for 21+ (ID required), Ice Cream Truck, Games, and Free T-shirts while supplies last.

Expert faculty of The Fletcher School and guest panelists explore how the events and aftermath of September 11, 2001, reshaped U.S. security and foreign policy, as well as world politics, over the past 25 years. Join us  Tuesday, September 15, 5:30 p.m. in ASEAN auditorium in the Cabot building, Medford campus.

Join Tufts Global Education for First Steps, a presentation covering the basics of studying abroad at Tufts — from program types and the application process to important timelines, planning tips, and more. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or already dreaming about a semester abroad, this session is an essential first step in planning your experience.

We are in a critical decade to avoid the worst predicted impacts of climate change, yet the global institutional architecture of climate action is undergoing a process of razing, renovation, and renewal.

Jennifer Baldwin, A05, Assistant Director, Yale University Office of Sustainability, will share lessons learned from her career as a practitioner designing climate and energy foreign assistance projects for the United States federal government and multilateral institutions.

On Wednesday, September 16, stop by Tisch Library's Leisure Area just beyond the main lobby between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. to spend time with amazing therapy animals brought to you by Paws for People!

This is a friendly reminder that you can find on-campus jobs by logging in to your Handshake account. We encourage you to apply for positions that interest in you the next 1-3 weeks as the semester begins. 

Meet Ellie – our new artificial intelligence chatbot! Ellie is a pilot program to see how the chat bot function can enhance your interaction with and access to Student Services.

Ellie’s services are being offered to the Undergraduate and Graduate communities of the Schools of Arts Sciences and Engineering, the SMFA, and the Fletcher School. Ellie has been trained to help you with questions related to Student Records, Registration, Financial Aid, Billing and Residential Life.

The Green Fund is open for fall applications until Wednesday, September 16. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to apply for up to $40,000 in funding to make their sustainability project a reality on Tufts’ campuses.

Introduction to Mindfulness® is a free, four-week program where you’ll learn practical tools like meditation, breathing exercises, guided imagery, and body scans to help you manage stress and make a little more space to check in with yourself. The program meets in person at Tisch Library once a week for four consecutive weeks. Sign up and save your spot today!

Trevor Hillier, A26, began his time at Tufts as a linebacker for the Jumbos. As he navigated a busy schedule as a student athlete, explored rigorous course work in the liberal arts model of Tufts University, and rose to his fraternity’s executive board, he found his way to Tufts’ premiere Graduate Certificate in Business at The Fletcher School. 

This new opportunity allows juniors and seniors at Tufts to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Business at The Fletcher School while completing their undergraduate degree at no extra cost.
