Law Day on the Hill: Careers in Public Interest Law |
Join the Tufts Lawyers Association, in partnership with the Office of Alumni Engagement and Career Center, on Tuesday, March 3, at 6–9:30 p.m. in Breed Memorial Hall (51 Winthrop St.) for the annual Law Day on the Hill. You'll listen to experienced panelists talk about careers in areas that serve the public interest. Panelists in private practice, government, and nonprofits will speak about how they started and built careers with a public interest focus and will provide advice for doing the same.

KBUG: Accommodations Abroad |
Join the Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center and Tufts Global Education on Wednesday, March 4, at 5 p.m. via Zoom to learn more about accommodation requests, considerations, and action items related to studying abroad! This event is encouraged for students with accommodation needs such as additional testing time, religious accommodations, allergies, dietary restrictions, mobility concerns, etc. This event is part of Tufts Global Education's "Know Before yoU Go" series.

King Felipe VI of Spain Endowed Chair Inaugural Address |
On behalf of the Department of Romance Studies, please join us in celebrating Nina Gerassi-Navarro as the newly appointed King Felipe VI of Spain Endowed Chair. Her lecture, "Indigo Geographies," will be held Thursday, March 5, at 5 p.m. in the Chase Center. Focusing on indigo dye, the talk explores how European colonization reshaped global economies, cultures, and textile production, revealing centuries of interconnected histories.

Hear from folks who work across public, private, and nonprofit sectors to impact policy, diplomacy, international development, education, human rights, social justice, and more. Food will be provided!

Upcoming StAAR Center Workshop! |
Join the StAAR Center on Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m.–1 p.m. in Tisch Library Austin Conference Room for Senior Writers Accountability Group Write-In. Senior thesis and capstone writers: Join us for a session dedicated to working on your thesis. Together we will plan and set goals, then spend time writing together in solidarity. Our resources are free and open to all undergraduates. Workshops are held in person on the Medford/Somerville campus.
