This is a day for families and friends of Indiana Tech students to come see what their student calls home, where their student is creating a life and investing so much time and energy as they pursue their education. It is meant to be a fun-filled day of experiencing different activities across campus. This day is in collaboration with our Indiana Tech Homecoming 2022 weekend.
Family & Friends Day Check-in
Time: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Location: Abbott Welcome Center
Families of current students who registered for the day should check-in to get their schedule, gift, and meal tickets.
Party on the Square
Time: 12-3 p.m.
Location: Scully Square
Come down to Scully Square for an afternoon of fun activities! Join students, alums, faculty and staff and bring your friends and family for the second annual Party on the Square at homecoming. We’ll have food trucks, ice cream, face painting, balloon artists, a photobooth and more!
Fall Fun in the Rec
Time: 12-3 p.m.
Location: Rec Center
Play games, bowl and relax with family and friends in the Rec!
Movie in the Magee: Thor – Love and Thunder
Time: 3 p.m.
Location: Magee-O’Connor Theater
Thor comes out of retirement for another big-screen appearance on Family and Friends Day. Get there early for free popcorn and drinks before showtime!
Dinner and a Show
Time: 5-7 p.m.
Location: Andorfer Dining Hall
Enjoy dinner and a show with a live family-friendly performance for featuring Free Daps! FREE DAPS is a group of freestyle rappers and improvisers who use hip-hop to create a thrilling, one-of-a-kind musical comedy show. After bringing their authentic freestyle to both Disney World and Universal Studios, their next stop is Fort Wayne, Indiana! Families of current students who register for this event receive a meal voucher for dinner in the Dining Hall. Those without a voucher may purchase dinner at the entrance to the Dining Hall.
Casino Night
Time: 7-10 p.m.
Location: Seitz Conference Center
In the the pinnacle of homecoming traditions, you can test your luck at actual roulette, blackjack and many other tables with professional dealers for the opportunity to win a variety of awesome prize packages! Whether blackjack or craps is your game, whether you are a beginner or a card shark, come one come all to Casino Night. The night is entirely free for students and their friends and families.
