Hi there,
Graduation has passed and June brings an exciting summer vibe to campus with orientation sessions, the Global Partner Summer School, and more!
In May, we celebrated the class of 2019 at our annual International Student Graduation Celebration and Dinner. The event opened with keynote speaker Dr. Gwen Fears (Associate Dean of Students) congratulating students for their accomplishments.
International students, Yuan (Tony) Chang (Bachelor of Arts in Economics) and Usha Dhakal (Master of Gerontological Studies), shared reflections on their Miami experiences with their fellow classmates. Tony Chang explained his interpretation of "Love and Honor" and announced that he'll be staying at Miami as he has been offered a full time position with the athletics department.

Studying abroad while studying abroad

For the over 3,000 international students at Miami University, their time in Oxford or at the regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown is a study abroad experience. Because of this, many of these students don’t consider studying abroad in a third country while at Miami.
Two Chinese students who studied in Luxembourg, including Snow, share their stories about why they chose to go abroad for a semester.
