| THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR BRINGS RENEWED EXCITED ABOUT GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT AT UNCG!
With international student move-in complete and fall classes underway, IPC is thrilled to welcome students, faculty, and staff back to a new and exciting academic year!
Our international Spartans this year are coming from all corners of the globe and they are excited to be joining our vibrant, diverse, and global community at UNCG. This last summer, more than 200 students traveled to many parts of the world for an international experience, most of them learning from one of our distinguished faculty. Check out What Spartans Abroad did on their “Summer Vacations” for some of their adventures. Finally, more than 35 faculty and staff traveled internationally over the summer to conduct research or present at international conferences. It was indeed a busy but also productive and fun summer.
We are entering the new academic year with renewed excitement and energy! Learn more about what's coming up at the International Program in the next couple of months in this newsletter. I hope I will see many of you at some of these events.
I wish you all a wonderful Fall semester!
- Dr. Maria Anastasiou, Associate Provost
