May 24, 2022 (Los Angeles, CA) - The prestigious Lucie Awards gala returns to New York City to celebrate photography with a stellar lineup of honorees and the announcement of the fourth annual Impact Award recipient. The red carpet gala ceremony is scheduled to be at New York’s renowned Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
The Lucie Foundation, along with its Advisory Board, has announced an impressive list of twelve honorees:
Robert Adams will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award
Sally Mann for Achievement in Fine Art
Michelle V. Agins for Achievement in Photojournalism
Kwame Brathwaite for Achievement in Portraiture
Manuel Outumuro for Achievement in Fashion
Candida Höfer for Achievement in Architecture
Lynn Johnson for Achievement in Documentary
Koto Bolofo for Achievement in Advertising
Tony Duffy for Achievement in Sports
Ami Vitale will receive the Humanitarian Award
Baxter St at the Camera Club of New York will receive the Spotlight/Visionary Award
The Impact Award is given to a photographer whose image or body of work has created a difference in a given year. The recipient of this award will be announced in September.
