Hi Class of 2030,
Back in August, 1,872 of you took 5 minutes to tell us what a good start at Tufts would look like. Your answers shaped these first weeks more than you may realize. Your input guided how the Student Life team welcomed the Class of 2030 to campus.
From giant Orientation events to one-on-one conversations, your ideas of a meaningful first six weeks were our north star. We also hope—and have heard from many of you—that taking a few minutes to pause and look ahead shaped how you showed up at Tufts.
Now, it’s time to revisit these questions. Please take 5 minutes to complete a very short follow-up survey by Monday, November 2.

There are three reasons it matters, and the first one is for you.

This is a check-in with yourself. Do you have a couple of people you can text? A place where you're a regular? Do you know where you'd turn if something unexpected happened? Taking honest stock of yourself is a skill, and it's one you'll use for the next four years and well beyond. Whatever your answers are, they're information, not a grade.

This is for the students coming after you. The answers you shared in August built this fall. The answers you share in October will build the next one for when the Class of 2031 walks into their first day. Your answers will inform their welcome.
