STATE OF THE ART
News from PATRICIA BARRY LEVY

Schwabisch Hall is a lovely southern German city that dates back to the thirteenth century. I was born there a bit later - and not long ago made a visit. I was moved by the experience of tracing my roots and by the beauty of the city - so well preserved and tourist friendly. To my astonishment the city archivist retrieved a folder from the basement with my name on it, detailing my first three years in the area as one of many war babies. I made these Old World collages on my return home.
My work is on continuous display at the new Hands of Time Gallery on Main Street in Lindsborg "Little Sweden" Kansas.
Beginning in September and throughout the fall, I will be part of a group show at the recently reincarnated Robert Anderson Gallery in Denver.
