Be Knowledgeable: Safety in Employee Parking Lots
The Port of Portland implemented several actions to enhance safety and security in the PDX employee parking lot:
Ensured the parking lot is patrolled and monitored 24/7 by Port of Portland staff, Port Police, SP+ Corporation employees and SP+ Corporation’s contracted security company.
Closed off the east exit to vehicles and pedestrians to limit access to the area.
Improved lighting and cut back landscaping to increase visibility.
Added signage reminding you to contact the PDX Communications Center if you see anything suspicious.
Added signage in bus shelters that includes a QR code, giving you a quick way to provide feedback about your parking and shuttle bus service experience.
Additionally, as you would in any public parking lot, we encourage you to remove all valuables from your vehicle when parking at the airport. Most important, if you observe suspicious activity, call the PDX Communications Center emergency number at 503.460.4000.

Lost & Found Transition
There are some changes happening behind the scenes in Lost & Found. Starting today, the office is managed and staffed by Port of Portland employees. The processes, phone numbers and policies remain the same, and you shouldn't notice anything different other than some new faces if you stop by. Open hours will still be Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ABM, who previously staffed the office, will continue to provide wayfinding and information in the terminal as well as additional support in the information booths.

Hidden Gems at PDX:
Hollywood Theatre Fall Lineup and Calliope Rotating Art Display
Did you know you can find pint-sized art appreciation spots at PDX? There's a mini art gallery in Calliope on Concourse E and the Hollywood Theatre microcinema on Concourse C.
Calliope's artist-in-residence program provides a platform for local artists to showcase their work at PDX. Currently they're featuring Michelle Griffin. whose artwork is a collection of whimsical birdhouses and 2D silhouetted playful art created with re-purposed items including old fence board, recycled paint and bits of leather and tin.
Over at the PDX Hollywood Theatre microcinema, the new fall lineup includes short films about a local man honored with a statue in his image, a heartwarming story of how a dog changes lives, an exploration of the creative south coast of Oregon with a marine debris artist, a science advocacy team and the chief of a Native American tribe, and perhaps most exciting, one about our very own PDX roof: Coming in 2024.
PDX in Pictures
On Sunday, enthusiastic fans gathered at PDX to welcome the National Women's Soccer League champion Portland Thorns home after their big win on Saturday. The victory was the third title for the Thorns! See more photos by Sean Meagher from the welcome home rally in The Oregonian.
