EPCE names two new Governance Committee members

The Electric Providers Coalition for Education has chosen Arizona Public Service – Palo Verde’s Dr.Dru Barish and Sargent & Lundy’s DeAnna Myers to join its governance committee.
Dru is the Human Resource Program Manager at APS-Palo Verde. Previously she worked in Palo Verde’s Nuclear Technology department as instructional technologist. She also brings a background in education and administration to the committee.
Deanna is a senior manager of training and organizational change strategies for Sargent & Lundy. As one of the first members on the EPCE committee from an AE firm she will add a new perspective to the committee’s goals. 

We are thrilled to have Dru and Deanna as members of the committee.

Bismarck State College moves forward to become polytechnic institute

EPCE's higher education partner Bismarck State College has made the transition to become a polytechnic institution. Approved by the North Dakota State Board of Education in 2018, BSC has made the necessary steps to advance their mission to become the state's very first polytechnic institution. Bismarck State College has named Alicia Uhde as Polytechnic Program Outreach Director. Uhde was previously a program manager in the BSC National Energy Center of Excellence. She has been with BSC for 16 years.
