Dear Graduate School Alumni,
As I am writing this update, universities across the country continue to navigate a rapidly evolving federal policy environment. At Vanderbilt, we are committed to ensuring that our graduate students can continue their research and make steady progress toward their degree without disruption.
The challenges we face today remind us of an important lesson: resilience and adaptability define our community. Through past financial recessions and more recently, the disruptions of COVID-19, Vanderbilt has consistently found ways to adapt. We have worked to secure new resources, advocate for change, and foster new innovations in research and teaching. While the current landscape presents uncertainties, history has shown that Vanderbilt is strong and enduring. Together, we will continue to advance our mission and support the next generation of scholars.
Thank you for your continued engagement and support.
Sincerely,
