Our records indicate your Tennessee CPA/PA license expired on December 31, 2020. Log in to your account and select your license under the “It is time to Renew” area to begin the renewal process. A late fee of $100.00 will be added on January 31, 2021.
Have you received an error when attempting to renew?  A small number of licensees have experienced an error, which typically results from an attempt to change address information during license renewal.  This can be resolved by again selecting your license for renewal and starting a new application.  If you continue to receive an error, please contact the Board for assistance. You may enter a request to change your address information after the renewal has been submitted.
Those with a CPE requirement must include a listing of CPE courses completed for 2019-2020.
CPAs first granted a license in 2020 have no CPE requirement for the 2020 renewal and must instead attach a document confirming this. Documentation of such exemption may be one of the following:
  • A copy of the email notification regarding CPE exemption,
  • A statement regarding this requirement, or
  • A scanned copy of your CPA license
Please contact the Customer Service center at 615-741-2550 or Accountancy.Board@TN.Gov with questions about the license renewal process.
