FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Singer-Songwriter Alexa Goldie Releases Single,
“Come on Home” – Now Available!
(Nashville, TN - August 19, 2022) Country singer and songwriter Alexa Goldie has released a new single titled "Come on Home." The track, available here, is about taking the next step in a relationship and being hopeful about moving forward and growing closer together. This upbeat, fun song is available on all major streaming platforms across the globe.

The song was produced by Grady Saxman and written by Shantaia and Alexa Goldie.
Goldie says her reasoning behind writing the song was about her real-life relationship: "Going into my write, I knew I wanted to write something that felt real. My boyfriend and I had been dating for the past four years, and I was ready for us to take the next step in our relationship. After practically living together for years, I was (im)patiently waiting for him to ask me to move in with him; however, I didn't want to be the one to bring that up. Writing a song about something is similar to manifesting because shortly after writing 'Come on Home,' my boyfriend and I moved in together! This is a raw and fun song that all girls and guys can connect to if they are waiting for someone to make a move."
"Come on Home" features Alexa's sweet vocals expressing her love and appreciation for her boyfriend, but there is an internal yearning in her for him to move in. The couple is already spending so much time together, and it's as if they have already lived together forever. She breaks the silence and says, "We got it figured out / we already know how / baby it's nothing new." She then goes on to say, "why don't you turn it from baby come on over to come on home."
This track is her latest single following her EP High Road, which she released in 2020.
