Titled "The Roadshow," this initiative brings city officials face-to-face with contractors and stakeholders to engage in an open dialogue of sharing insights, streamlining processes, enhancing compliance, and more.

NEW! INTERACTIVE PERMITS GUIDE - COMMERCIAL EDITION

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our department's newest building resource, the Interactive Permits Guide - Commercial Edition. Like the Residential Edition of this tool, users get quick and easy answers regarding the necessity of a building permit for their project. Simply access the interactive tool, hover over relevant project area on the graphic, and learn whether or not a permit is required to proceed.

SUGARLAND'S GREAT HOMES PROGRAM CONTINUES

Sugar Land's Great Homes Program aims to help its homeowners through collaboration with the city to enhance the integrity of its single-family residences. Through incentives to homeowners within the city limits, this trailblazing program endeavors to protect and preserve Sugar Land's neighborhood areas for years to come.

Following an impactful 2023 year, Sugar Land's Great Homes Program reopened its application in February 2024, inviting more residents to participate in this beneficial incentive program.
