This is the final reminder for our approaching Tufts Global Education deadline.
Do you intend to study abroad at any point during the 2022–23 academic year on a Tufts Program Abroad or an external non-Tufts study abroad program (excluding summer)? If so, please take note of the following REQUIRED steps and deadlines.
- By November 1, 2021, all students must register their intent to study abroad in 2022–23 via the "Intent to Study Abroad" form (corrected URL: https://globalopportunities.tufts.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=Students.Apply&Program_ID=10346). This is a mandatory step in order to study abroad; students who do not register their intent by the deadline will not be eligible to study abroad in 2022–23. We will not consider late petitions if you decide later that you wish to study abroad. (Students who register their intent to study abroad will not receive an on-campus housing lottery number for that academic year and may choose to be placed on a waitlist for on-campus housing. Questions about the waitlist and housing application process should be directed to Residential Life.)
- By February 1, 2022, students must apply for their study-abroad program in 2022–23. This deadline is applicable to both Tufts Programs Abroad and external (non-Tufts) programs (although the latter will additionally involve a program-specific application to the program provider).
