We are all still reeling from the sudden loss of Barbara Krauss on Friday, February 15. Barbara had been the welcoming voice of WYSU-FM for more than three decades, and the impact of her loss cannot be overstated. Thanks so much to the thousands of people who shared their grief with us, and expressed their sympathy and support for us as we do our best to carry on.
We know things will never be the same, but we are committed to building on the wonderful legacy Barbara left us, and we hope to continue to provide the most reliable, inspiring, enjoyable, and meaningful public radio service possible.
Though it feels uncomfortable to do our typically fun and silly pledge drive this spring,
the need for membership support remains absolutely essential. We can’t just skip it. So, to that need, we must sincerely ask you to renew your support as generously as you can. We can ill afford to fall short of our fundraising goals. Not only are member contributions vital for paying local and ever-increasing network programming costs, but they also influence all of our other sources of income as well. Please
