Environmental Internship Symposium

On Wednesday, December 7, at 12 noon–1:15 p.m. at Alumnae Lounge, join Environmental Studies students as they showcase their internship experiences at over 40 organizations across the environmental sector, including policy groups, nonprofits, government agencies, and startups. Interested in an internship in the future? Have you been thinking about getting involved in the environmental sector? The Internship Symposium is a great way to learn about new internship opportunities from other Tufts students!

First Steps Meeting

Join Tufts Global Education on Wednesday, December 7, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Dowling Hall Room 745B to learn more about the first steps for study abroad.

Hubert Goodale's Feminized Cockerels: Industrial Chicken Breeding, Sex Control, and the Queer Ecology of Endocrinology

On Thursday, December 8, at 12 noon–1 p.m., in the Curtis Hall Multipurpose Room, join us for a lecture with Gabriel Rosenberg, a historian whose research creatively combines the analysis of gender, sexuality, and the global food system. He'll dive into the importance of a multispecies and ecological approach to histories of human gender and sexuality and will disclose the animating and pervasive powers of affect, fantasy, and desire within the applied life sciences and the broader food system. Free pizza will be served.

KBUG: Education Abroad While Being FIRST

If you are first-generation and/or low-income, join the FIRST Center and the Tufts Global Education team on Thursday, December 8, at 5–6:30 p.m. in Dowling Hall Room 745A to learn more about studying abroad on financial aid. Dinner will be served; please RSVP.

Announcements and Updates

Announcing Global Tufts Month, March 1–31, 2023! Event Funding Available

The Office of the Provost and the Senior International Officer invite the entire Tufts community to host and attend events related to this year's Global Tufts Month theme: Confronting Global Challenges to Human Well-being—Together. These events will showcase Tufts' breadth and depth of global engagement and can include lectures, film showings, cultural events, social programs, and more!
Mini-grants up to $500 are available for event funding; submit by February 1.
