Hello Jumbos
As we look ahead, this week we'll be exploring resources provided by the Tufts Career Center! If you have additional questions, you can always reach out to the Career Center at
The Tufts Career Center
The first year is a unique time for growth, exploration, and more.  The Tufts Career Center offers extensive resources to help you explore career options and develop strategies for pursuing your goals. These include career education programs, Career Fellows (undergraduate peer advisors) to introduce you to the Career Center, individual career advising appointments, and comprehensive tools designed to help you assess your skills, interests, values, competencies and experiences. We’ll be here to support you in a hyrid format, with more details forthcoming in the weekly Career eNews you'll receive.
As a Tufts student, you’ll also gain access to Handshake, our online platform for jobs, internships, and career events. Through this system, you can receive internship recommendations tailored to your interests, search for student employment opportunities, RSVP for virtual career events, and more.
Basic Elements of Your Career Development Journey
Each of these areas involves action steps that we will help you complete before you move on to your next career development phase: Reflect & Discover, Explore Careers, Build Skills & Gain Experience, and Take Action. We look forward to partnering with you along the way!
