First Romero-King Vigil-on-the-Green
Tuesday, March 24, 1– 2 p.m.
Campus Green
The Core will host our first (of the semester) Vigil-on-the-Green.
Each year, we remember St. Oscar Romero and Martin Luther King, Jr., typically with two Vigils–on-the-Green, one held on or near the date of Romero’s death (March 24th, as is the case this year) and another on or near King’s death (April 4). This year, however, that date is on Easter weekend, so we are holding the second vigil on April 7. Faculty, administrators, staff, and students gather to remember the words of these two great, slain leaders.
