University of Central Oklahoma

Todd G. Lamb became the University of Central Oklahoma’s 22nd President July 1, 2023, marking a new chapter in a distinguished career that spans public service, statewide elected office, private law practice and business ownership. The Rotary Club 29 Foundation: Investing in Service Above Self

Did you know that in addition to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, headquartered in Chicago, our very own Rotary Club 29 Foundation is hard at work making a local and global impact?

Rooted in the Rotary motto “Service Above Self,” the Foundation is governed by 13 directors and officers, with plans to expand to 17 members over the next two years. Its assets—totaling nearly $5 million—are managed by BOK Financial and the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

How Our Funds Are Managed
The Foundation’s assets are categorized into four types:

Short-term unrestricted
Short-term restricted
Long-term restricted
Other restricted funds

Nominating Committee Seeking Candidates

The Nominating Committee has begun its work to select candidates to appear on the ballot in November for officers and directors for the 2026-2027 Rotary year (when Lance McDaniel will be President.) The committee is carefully considering a pool of potential candidates who have been engaged club members and demonstrated an interest in leadership in the club. However, to ensure that we are making our selections from the deepest pool of qualified candidates, we would welcome any self-nominations.

If you are interested in being considered for a position on the ballot, please let Megan Law know by email no later than 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 30. To be eligible, a club member must have been a member of Club 29 for at least three years at the time of the vote in November. Thank you for all that you do for Club 29.
