★ CHAULK UP THREE WINS FOR LRF IN MARCH

| Led by our California Bred contingent, LRF had a scintillating March with three wins by CA Breds Bobby Z Man, Chaulk O Lattey (pictured) and Chati's On Top. Bobby Z Man kicked off March with a convincing victory for his LRF Partners at Santa Anita Park ("SAP") on Sunday March 2 (VIDEO). Bobby Z earned $34,800 for his win and has amassed over $124,000 in earnings in less than a year of racing. After two straight second place finishes, CA Bred filly Chati's On Top broke through the CA Bred allowance ranks with a thrilling nose victory on March 19 at SAP (VIDEO). Just a few days earlier, Chaulk O Lattey made it look easy while breaking her maiden down the hill at SAP (VIDEO). Chaulk earned over $50,000 for the win. LRF Partners earned over $100,000 for the month and April looks to be just as promising (see below).

★ NEW SYNDICATIONS SELLING QUICKLY

| Little Red Feather Racing, California's largest racing club, purchased two horses at the recently concluded OBS March Sale in Ocala, FL. LRF was on the grounds for almost a week looking at all 600+ horses. "You never know who you might end up buying," said LRF Managing Partner Gary Fenton. "So you look at everyone. Just because a horse might be out of our budget doesn't mean we don't keep a close eye on to see where the bidding is." LRF purchased two horses; RiRi, a 2yo filly by Speightstown out of a GI placed A.P. Indy mare, and Arthur Avenue, a 2yo NY Bred colt by Bellamy Road (pictured). Riri (VIDEO) will be sent to So Cal and red-hot trainer Phil D'Amato while Art (VIDEO) will be shipped to New York and up-and-coming young trainer, Michele Nevin. In 2014, her first full year taking over the reigns from Richard Dutrow, all Michele did was win 28% of her starts, with earnings of nearly $2.5 million. | We suspect if you are as happy as the syndicate partners above, you probably don't need this blog. | Starting this Saturday, April 4, LRF is poised to have one fascinating month of thoroughbred racing. On Saturday, on the Santa Anita Derby undercard, LRF will start Sheer Pleasure (pictured) in the $200,000 Evening Jewel Stakes. In addition, Rocko's Wheel will make his first LRF start in the $200,000 Echo Eddie Stakes. Both CA Breds are trained by Phil D'Amato. On the very same day, Midnight Miley will make her Northern California debut in an allowance race at Golden Gate Fields for trainer Steve Sherman. April will also see the return of Bobby Z Man, Silver Spirit, Ya Ya Girl, Larry Birdstone, and the LRF debut of Del Mar Derby winner, Midnight Storm.
