Join Bethany Eanes, AB ’06, for a virtual, mindful morning on the gorgeous Redondo Beach Harbor. In this interactive and informative class, you will alleviate nagging physical discomfort from your virtual workplace. In one session, you will feel your posture improve and your body relax.

| A Conversation and Demo with Caffe Vita Coffee Roasting Company Tuesday, February 23, 2021 | 10–11 a.m. PST Seattle is known for having some of the best coffee in the world. Allecia Vermillion, AB ’01, will talk Seattle and all things coffee with Deming Maclise, owner of Caffe Vita Coffee Roasting Company. The event will conclude with a demo and tasting led by Sam Spillman, director of coffee experience and cafes and 2019 US Barista Champion. The deadline to register is February 10, 2021.

| Work and Inspiration with Artists Michael Alm, AB ’06, and Micki Lippe, AB ’65 Friday, March 19, 2021 | 12–1 p.m. PST Join WashU alumni and Seattle-based artists Micki Lippe, AB ’65,and Michael Alm, AB ’06, for a virtual tour and discussion. Michael will give us an inside look at his acclaimed hybrid sculpture studio and furniture shop. From there, we will head over to Loosely Hinged, where owner Micki will share her take on living a creative life—including the risks and choices that have led to an inspiring career spanning more than 40 years.

| “Inclusion by Design” with Michael Willis, BA ’73, MArch ’76, MSW ’76 Thursday, March 11, 2021 | 10:30–11:30 a.m. PST The San Francisco Bay Area is home to an eclectic mix of Victorian and modern architecture. It’s also home to alumnus and architect Michael Willis, BA ’73, MArch ’76, MSW ’76. For the last 30 years, Michael has shared his passion and expertise with the WashU Bay Area community through a biennial architecture walk. This year, that event is being re-imagined as a virtual experience. Join Michael for a presentation featuring Bay Area buildings and structures. Michael will discuss the intersection of the built environment and economic opportunity and also reflect on the importance of equity and inclusion in urban design.
