Tips for Grads: 3 things every online student needs

Personal Effectiveness
Whether you’re new to online learning or have a few semesters under your belt, streamlining the way you learn will help you get the most out of your classes — not to mention increase your productivity and decrease your stress levels. Here are three tips for starting the semester strong.
Create a learning plan. A learning plan is a comprehensive document that provides an overview of your learning, including attainable goals, firm deadlines and timetables to keep you on track. Add important dates and study blocks to your personal, work and family calendars.
Cultivate a strong support system. Keeping yourself on track mentally, academically, and emotionally is much easier if you’ve got support in place. Check in with your family to discuss any upcoming changes in schedules, and delegate new responsibilities if needed.
Set up a focused learning environment. To avoid the urge to multitask, make sure you have a space where you can focus on the task at hand. Equip yourself with the right tools for online learning, like a powerful cloud-based memory system, such as Box, conferencing tools, etc.
