CHIPS has achieved Accreditation in Human Simulation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare for the Standardized/Simulated Patient (SP) Program! They are one of the first programs to receive this recognition after being identified as one of only three exemplary programs to serve as pilot sites, this milestone underscores the level of excellence, expertise, and innovation found at CHIPS.
This achievement acknowledges the dedication and hard work of the CHIPS team, particularly the contributions of the SPs, Jamie Pitt, Amy Rush, Tim Dotson, and Jarrod Young who were instrumental in this effort. Accreditation in this area recognizes the caliber of work made possible by the incredible leadership of Dr. Tara Lemoine. As a pilot site CHIPS has set a new benchmark for the field of simulation with the SP program as the gold standard by which other programs around the world will be measured.
Please extend a warm congratulations to Rickeya Burts, Tim Dotson, Dr. Tara Lemoine, Jamie Pitt, Amy Rush, Devin Scott, and Jarrod Young!
