Students at Orientation
Hello Jumbos,
It's a big week! We've just posted your customized New Student Checklist 2019 on your Application Status page and have opened the Housing Survey for all students, as well as registration for Pre-Orientation!
We're also introducing Raftr, a new mobile app that helps students connect and find out what's happening!

This Week's News and Announcements

Start your New Student Checklist 2019

You have a few responsibilities over the summer, and many of them can be completed online. We've provided you with a customized New Student Checklist 2019 on your Application Status page to help you stay on track.
Note: the customized Checklist replaces the static version of the New Student Checklist we posted on our Orientation website in years past. Make sure you head to your Application Status page to view it!

We encourage you to review each item on your New Student Checklist 2019 now so you can make plans and keep up with requirements. If you're currently short on time, make sure you at least get to work on the two items below

1) Set up your Tufts Email, Student ID, and Username

Your very first step should be secure your Tufts email, student ID number, and username, if you haven't done so already. You'll use these for many important tasks over the summer and while you're enrolled at Tufts. We will send all official University communications exclusively to your @tufts.edu address starting June 1, so it's important to get your email set up and check it on a regular basis!

2) Complete the Housing Survey

We've opened the Housing Survey on your New Student Checklist 2019. Be sure to complete the survey by June 12 to help us pair you with a roommate and find your living space on campus. You'll need to log into your SIS account, then choose "Housing" on the bottom of the "About Me" tab.

Pre-Orientation

Pre-Orientation programs are an opportunity to get involved on campus early, meet upper-class leaders and mentors, gain valuable leadership skills, and meet other students with similar interests before Orientation officially begins. Register by June 5!
Note: students participating in Tufts Civic Semester are unable to also participate in Pre-Orientation programs. Please contact PreOrientation@tufts.edu with any questions.
