AmeriCorps College Adviser, NC State College Advising Corps (24-25 Cohort)

The NC State College Advising Corps (CAC) is an AmeriCorps college access program that aims to increase the postsecondary enrollment for low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students in North Carolina. NC State CAC recruits recent college graduates to serve as “near peer” AmeriCorps college advisers in under-resourced high schools across the state. Assistant/Associate Professor – Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism – University of Utah

The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism in the College of Health at the University of Utah is pleased to announce a nine-month assistant/associate professor tenure track appointment to begin fall semester 2025. Director, Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands – Indiana University

The Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands is one of seven centers at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC). The Eppley Center is a statewide and national resource on matters related to parks, recreation and public lands management including service to local, state and national organizations responsible for stewardship of, and providing park, public land, tourism and recreation opportunities to society.

The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing an annual work plan to develop a program that includes: 1) mission driven externally funded projects, initiatives, and research; 2) service to the profession through revenue producing program activities, 3) enhanced collaborative initiatives with IIDC programs and centers; 4) dissemination and outreach; and 5) developing new external sources of funding. Social Scientist – Department of the Interior – National Park Service

This position is located in Natural Resources Stewardship and Science in the Environmental Quality Division. Professor and Department Head of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications – Texas A&M University

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for the full-time, tenured position of Professor and Head of the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications (ALEC). NCEJN is currently recruiting volunteers for our 2024 Environmental Justice Summit on October 18th-20th, 2024. NCEJN provides free registration and housing while it’s available on site for volunteers, with preference going to those volunteers who can stay all three days. Volunteer Coaches Needed for GCAA Rec Soccer

GCAA is hosting two grassroots coaching courses led by instructors from NCYSA on Sunday, September 8th at 1pm and 3pm. GCAA will cover the registration fees for all coaches who participate. That being said, any students who coach could receive this certification and training free of charge. GCAA can work with our students and faculty to provide field experience or practicum opportunities for students who need it. College Mentors for Kids is a national nonprofit that pairs college students with elementary-aged kids for one-on-one mentorship throughout the academic year. The Development Specialist supports achievement of the Development Team’s revenue goals with a focus on diversifying and increasing NRPA’s foundation, corporate, and federal partnerships (approximately $7-8 million in annual revenue). The Development Specialist will identify prospects and prospective grant opportunities to support NRPA’s strategic plan, signature initiatives, and other fundraising priorities. The Development Specialist will lead cross-organizational internal application development processes for prospective/renewal grant applications and other fundraising opportunities.
