Cycle For Life
Cycle for Life - Event Day Information!

We are looking forward to ride day and safely celebrating with our CF Community! Rider and Volunteer Safety is our top priority.
Hello Riders!
We look forward to seeing you on September 12th starting at 7am at North Park! On behalf of all of us at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, we are excited to welcome you to Cycle for Life! Your continued support of this event and our mission means more than ever.

We know this year is unique and want to assure you that the health and safety of all event participants/Attendees/guests and our staff remains our top priority. As such, we are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials to minimize the risk of COVID-19 infection.
For your safety and the safety of others:

We do not plan to ask for you to provide proof of vaccination. We are, however, counting on the fact that you appreciate the potential consequences of exposing members of the CF community to COVID if not vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, we invite you to participate virtually.

We cannot guarantee that all people in attendance at the event, including participants, sponsors, volunteers, and vendors, have been fully vaccinated.

If you have not registered, please register by September 8th. If you have team members still looking to join you, they must register by September 8th.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If any spectators are joining you, they must go to check-in to sign the COVID waiver or they will not be permitted to attend.

Face masks are highly recommended to be worn throughout the event space but are required when interacting with individuals outside your household. Please also practice social distancing from others outside your household during the event.

Q & A with Natalie Soxman

Our sweet CF Ambassador sat down with Coach Justin for a little Q & A.  Before you get into the heavy reading of the event details, take a watch!

Event Details

Packet Pick-Up
Check your mail (well, in a couple of days)!  We are mailing out bibs, pins, and event day information.  If you do not receive a bib, see us at the check-in table to sign a COVID waiver.
Check-in Process
All riders, please quickly check-in at the route board between 7- 8 am. We want to make sure we keep track of our cyclists!  We are CASHLESS which means we will not be processing donations on site. Please consider making your donations online and using the mobile app for processing checks!
Parking
There will be signs and volunteers once you approach the boathouse on Pearce Mill Road. Parking will be in the North Park Boathouse parking lot and the lot across the street at the Rose Barn.
Gear For Your Protection
Masks are recommended when you are not out on the route and helmets are required!

Routes
Follow us on Strava to see our Cycle For Life routes on your phone via the Strava app the day of the ride!  These routes are subject to change, so please double check the last email we will send the night before the event.
6.5-mile route
15-mile route
30-mile route
60 plus mile route -  you will ride the 30 mile route 2 times and if you want to go 5 more then do a victory lap with another lap around the lake, leaving and entering from Pearce Mill Rd entrance.
Finish Line Festival
We will be kicking back and relaxing with a lunch and a cold beer (only if you are 21 or older so bring ID) while listening to some tunes provided by Fireside events.   There will not be a large gathering space, rather smaller spaces where you can relax with your team.  We will provide a few smaller tents that will create a tent village so if you would like to call your own space home, please consider bringing your own tent.
