Dear Graduate School Community,
The semester is already off to a strong start, and I have enjoyed speaking with many of you about the start of the school year.
I hope you have found your rhythm over the last few weeks, had the opportunity to connect with colleagues, and taken advantage of the many professional development offerings available to you. Next week, on September 28, the Graduate School will be hosting grant panels for students to learn from faculty about the process of seeking funding to support your scholarship. These are wonderful opportunities for dialogue with faculty members and students across various disciplines.
As we move further into the semester, several of our campus partners are holding events dedicated to your well-being. Take advantage of these opportunities, whether you attend a support group or a workshop on stress management through the Graduate School. The Graduate and Postdoc Academic Success (GPAS) team is available for 1:1s to discuss any concerns about academic progress, productivity, or time management.
As always, the Graduate School is here to support you. Keep up the great work!
Best,
