Congratulations on finishing Week 9 of the semester! I hope you've been enjoying the beautiful weather with spring just around the corner. It's been fantastic to see our campus bustling with activities, from playing lawn games on the Green to taking well-deserved breaks on the Pirate Patio. Let's build on this energy as we continue through the semester.
Pirate Tip of the Week: Take Care of Yourself
- Practice mindfulness with apps like Headspace to reduce stress and stay grounded.
- Start journaling to process emotions and reflect on your thoughts. Even 5–10 minutes a day can bring clarity.
- Stick to a consistent sleep schedule, aiming for 7–8 hours each night. Quality sleep improves focus, memory, and mood.
- Create a relaxing bedtime routine—dim the lights, avoid screens, and try a guided meditation to wind down.
Remember that we are stronger together. Please take care of yourself and each other.

- "Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher." — Oprah Winfrey
-
One of the greatest benefits of joining a fraternity or sorority is the support system it provides. In Greek Life, you're surrounded by individuals who challenge you to grow, celebrate your successes, and stand by you during tough times. The friendships you build aren't just for college; they're for life. Whether it's through academic mentorship, leadership opportunities, or service projects, being part of this community helps you become the best version of yourself. So take full advantage of the connections around you, lift others, and let them lift you in return!
- "Be Somebody Who Makes Everybody Feel Like A Somebody" is a quote I've made my own throughout my time in Higher Education. I always aspire to be a great leader and lead by example for my students so they can do the same for others!
| |
Fraternity and Sorority Life at Seton Hall consists of 27 Greek-Lettered organizations, all making up 5 Greek Councils. The Greek Municipal Assembly (GMA) is the governing body of all Greek Letter councils on campus. Each semester, they host Greek Week where all our Greek organizations will promote their SHUnity through being on a team and have fun lighthearted competitions, service events, philanthropy showcasing and more!
"Joining Greek Life was the best decision I made in college. It gave me a support system, leadership opportunities, and friendships that will last a lifetime. Being part of this community has helped me grow into a more confident, driven, and compassionate person." - Seton Hall student
