Caregiver of the Month

CG of the Month - Halina S
We’re proud to recognize Halina S as our Caregiver of the Month!

She describes her working environment as very pleasant, friendly, respectful, and flexible. In her care approach, she focuses on making clients feel important and valued, and she consistently works to build meaningful relationships based on their individual strengths.
Outside of work, she enjoys English and Russian classic literature, listening to opera music, maintaining a daily routine of walking at least five miles, and spending time with her family.

She is being recognized as Caregiver of the Month because she is consistently professional, reliable, and delivers high-quality care. She builds strong, trusting relationships with her clients, and her dedication is reflected in the positive feedback she receives from families who describe her as dependable, respectful, and genuinely committed to their well-being.

Self/Family Managed Care

Manitoba is the only province that offers the Self and Family Managed Care Program to eligible home care recipients.
This program offers money in exchange for home care services, which can be used to hire private care or a care company such as Comforts of Home – Care. By going this route, not only do you have a say about who comes into your home, you can ensure consistency and quality of care.

Joke of the Month

A teacher asked her students to use the word "beans" in a sentence. "My father grows beans," said one girl. "My mother cooks beans," said a boy. A third student spoke up, "We are all human beans."
