(Nashville, TN – January 13, 2026) – Americana, bluegrass, and red dirt country entertainer Jimmy Bowen is thrilled to announce the return of Season 11 of Jimmy Bowen & Friends. The acclaimed live TV music series premieres this week with twelve new half-hour episodes featuring Bowen and his band, plus a rotating lineup of guest artists—launching the season with John Conlee.

Jimmy Bowen & Friends remains a nationwide fan favorite, airing on numerous syndicated networks and reaching over 200 million homes across the U.S., as well as audiences in the UK and New Zealand. The series is produced by Bowen’s Santa Fe Productions and directed by Taylor Vermillion, a dynamic freelance force in the industry whose work spans television, film, music videos, and commercial production. Vermillion has helmed award-winning projects—including producing the 2023 CMA Video of the Year, “Wait in the Truck” by Hardy and Lainey Wilson—and her credits include top artists such as Morgan Wallen, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, Ernest, Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, and productions for NBC’s Songland, the ACM Awards, CMT, and more.

The show also welcomes back industry veteran Tony Cottrill, owner of Lonely Dog Productions @ The DAWg Houze Nashville North, who leads the team behind the show’s impeccable recording and broadcast mixing.

Filmed live at The Troubadour Nashville, one of Music City’s most beloved venues, Season 11 showcases a dynamic lineup of guest artists, including Billy Dean, Derryl Perry, Hilljack, James Dupré, Jamie O'Neal, John Conlee, Larry Cordle, Maddye Trew, Rockland Road, Ruby Leigh, T.G. Sheppard, & Troy Castellano. This diverse mix of award-winning talent ensures each episode is packed with standout moments. Known for blurring genre lines, Jimmy Bowen & Friends offers something for music lovers of all tastes and generations.
Bowen's all-star band is comprised of some of Nashville's most renowned musicians including Craig Fletcher: fiddle/acoustic guitar/banjo, Dan Drobac: electric guitar, Donnie Clark: acoustic/electric guitar, (Pure Prairie League), Marlon Hargis: piano/organ/synthesizer (Exile), Sonny LeMaire: music director/bass/BGVs (Exile), Steve Cummings: drums, Steve Hinson: steel guitar, and background vocalists, siblings Kell Martin and Texas Martin of Rockland Road.
Jimmy Bowen & Friends airs on a wide range of major networks including Nashville's FOX 17, CW Nashville, DTC 3, and MY30, as well as ACN Country (American Country Network), AIM Country Music Television, Canyon Star TV, Country Road TV, Right Now TV, Stryk TV, The Family Channel, and The Heartland Network with additional networks set to come on board. Viewers are encouraged to check their local listings for availability. Many participating networks also offer streaming options, including Roku. The Heartland Network can additionally be viewed via the It’s Real Good TV app. Episodes from prior seasons are available on Jimmy Bowen’s YouTube channel, where fans can subscribe to watch past performances.

Bowen is scheduled to film Season 12, January 27th-29th at The Troubadour Nashville. The lineup and additional details will be announced and posted on his website in the coming days. 

Bowen was recently honored as Artist of the Year – Americana/Folk (Male) at the 2025 Josie Music Awards, held in November at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently in the studio working on new music to be released in the New Year.

ABOUT JIMMY BOWEN
Jimmy Bowen is a highly acclaimed musician, singer, and songwriter from Charlotte, N.C., with a career spanning more than three decades. He has toured internationally and performed with bluegrass greats including Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen, as well as David Parmley and Continental Divide, and has shared the stage with country legends such as Earl Thomas Conley, Eddy Raven, John Conlee, Josh Turner, Little Jimmy Dickens, and Mel Tillis. Bowen has also performed at the White House for President George H. W. Bush and at the Smithsonian Institution.

Bowen was inducted into the National Traditional Country Music Association’s America’s Old-Time Country Music Hall of Fame in 2019 and received a Josie Music Award for Folk/Americana Artist of the Year in 2022 and again in 2025. In addition to music, he has appeared in television, film, and commercials, including ABC’s Nashville and Toby Keith’s “Hope on the Rocks” music video. His recent single, “Any Ole Stretch of Blacktop,” debuted at #1 on CD TEX’s Top 10 Broadcast Downloads chart and remained on the chart for 24 weeks.
