For your radar: upcoming Sundays with special elements...
1. All Saints Day
As a part of worship on Sunday, October 31, Deermeadows will honor those from our community of faith who have passed over to be with the Lord during the last year. Invitations have been sent to let family members know, and while this is only a brief portion of worship, it is a touching reminder of their absence.
2. Sunday Business Meeting
At the end of worship on November 7, the church plans to conclude the business meeting that is to be held on November 3. Members will vote “yes” or “no” for Deermeadows’ 2022 Financial Ministry Plan.
3. Acknowledging Veterans
November 7, the Sunday before Veterans Day, portions of our time together are designed to honor God by blessing those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. Please join me in praying for those who serve: godly wisdom and discernment, protection and compassion, as well as provision for their families.
