The 2020 SOUL Application is Now Available!
It's SOUL Sunday! Have you missed the previous SOUL Sunday emails? Check out the SOUL Sunday email archive.
The SOUL application is now available. You can find the application, information regarding recommendation forms, the position description, the hiring timeline, and frequently asked questions on the SOUL website
Please keep the following dates in mind as you consider submitting an application:
  • Priority Deadline: Sunday, December 1 at 11:59pm
  • Final Deadline: Wednesday, January 8 at 8:00am
As a reminder, the advantage to the priority deadline is that it allows you to be notified about whether or not you have moved on to the next stage of the process before you leave for winter break. If you apply by the final deadline, you'll learn about your application status on January 27. Both deadlines carry the same weight in terms of whether or not you will be selected for the SOUL position.

SOUL Trivia
One of the first things we do as SOULs is create our own personal SOUL mailboxes. We do this activity as a part of our EDL 290F course: The Nature of Group Leadership for SOULs. SOULs have the opportunity to decorate and design their mailbox any way they want. They then take the mailbox with them throughout the entirety of your SOUL experience. It’s a fun way for the team to leave encouraging notes for one another throughout the spring and summer. Leaving a simple but meaningful note for a teammate is a super great way to check-in and keep the team feeling upbeat!
