Your Impact: Investing in Future Leaders
|
Supporting student scholars is an investment in the potential of individuals and the betterment of our collective future. Leveling the playing field ensures that talented students from diverse backgrounds can achieve their full potential and make meaningful contributions to the world.
Whether through one of our endowed scholarships or class annual giving initiatives, this year’s 10 scholars have already distinguished themselves by embracing the educational opportunities at SYA. The skills they gain will amplify the positive impact of their SYA education in decades to come. We invite you to meet these future leaders and learn more about their aspirations.

Lynée Connelly Named the SYA France Class of 1974 Faculty Chair
|
This endowed chair was established by the Class of SYA France 1974 during the 50th anniversary of SYA France to honor two beloved teachers — their English teacher, Peter Greer, and their math teacher, Charles (Chuck) Hamblet. The chair is awarded each year to a deserving math or English teacher at SYA France and underwrites a portion of the salary and benefits package.

Goals and Aspirations: Fall Update from President Hassan
|
In the annual fall letter, President Tom Hassan spoke about the Immersion Units at each of our campuses and how the times spent both in and out of the traditional classroom allow students to consider their goals for the short term as well as their aspirations for the full experience. As student Angela ES'24 said, "I hope to immerse myself fully in the rich culture of Zaragoza and return home with a new perspective on the world around me. "

Is your college on the list of most enrolled SYAers over the last five years? What percentage of our faculty have advanced degrees? How many states are represented by this year's class? Find the answers to these questions and more in this year's College Profile.
We encourage you to share this, along with the virtual information sessions and application to families you think might be a great fit for SYA.
