Building Inclusive Entrepreneurship Ecosystems
|
For this Black History Month, and all year long, we’ve compiled a few ways you can make your entrepreneurial support network more inclusive. The resources below can create more diverse and equitable ecosystems:
-
The National Urban League will give a first look at their report on the State of Black America during an opening plenary on Tuesday, March 5. This annual report gives important insight and analysis around racial equality in areas such as economics, employment, entrepreneurship, housing and much more. Register for the event and check out the report once it’s available.
-
Take a look at the National League of Cities 2022 webinar, A Roadmap to Inclusive Entrepreneurship, and explore the recommendations highlighted there that, if utilized, can build a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem.
-
International Economic Development Council’s Equitable Economic Development Playbook webinar invites economic development organizations to take an introspective look at if they commit to equity and learn ways to make it a part of their operations. View the recording here.
-
Dr. Dell Gines has an outstanding course on entrepreneurial ecosystem building that promotes inclusivity and community resulting in stronger, more resilient and productive economies. Check out his full Project DEEP course and register here.
