| Supply Chain Optimization and Intelligence Network
Supply Chain challenges can disrupt a manufacturing business, even to the point of the business closing its doors. We have seen this all too often in the last few years. Companies who thought their supply chain was solid and running smoothly, suddenly see lead times in the months and years, not weeks or days. Costs increased, if the products were available at all, and not sitting off the coast on a container ship waiting to come to port.

Celebrate Oct 4 Manufacturing Day in your Community |
On a Friday afternoon, I got a request from a desperate Engineering Camp coordinator for an onsite two-hour tour of our company operations the following Tuesday, just two business days away. Eighteen high school students were learning about engineering careers and topics and they suddenly had an opening in their schedule she needed to fill. We had just completed an extraordinary week of events with dignitaries and business partners visiting us, remote workers on site, charity fundraisers, company picnics and intern celebrations every evening.

Supply Chain Optimization and Intelligence Network
Impact Dakota has expanded and launched the Supply Chain Optimization and Intelligence Network (SCOIN). This exciting new program is designed to build robust supply chain opportunities for North Dakota manufacturers by understanding the strengths of our North Dakota manufacturers and connecting them with other manufacturers across the state and nation as possible new customers, or suppliers that they may be looking for. SCOIN is offered at no cost to you.
| |
Impact Dakota is partnering with NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP) and our nationwide network of 50 other MEP Centers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico to help solve supply chain gaps encountered by manufacturers, government entities, and critical service providers.
