NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Indie recording artist Wynn Williams celebrates the release of his new album COUNTRY THERAPY.* A title appropriately fitting, the project boasts neo-traditional tunes showcasing Williams' kinship with classic country and iconic sounds, and is a quintessential blend favoring influences enriched by popular, trendsetting 90s and 00s recordings akin to legendary live entertainers and honky tonkers, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn and Tim McGraw.
Produced by Brandon Hood, COUNTRY THERAPY shines a spotlight on the songwriting talents of country music legends–Hall of Famers and future Hall of Famers alike–including Carson Chamberlain (George Strait/Alan Jackson/Zach Top), Dean Dillon (George Strait/Kenny Chesney/Keith Whitley), Rhett Akins (Brooks & Dunn/Luke Bryan/Parker McCollum), Lydia Vaughn (Jason Aldean), Josh Dorr (Blake Shelton/Jordan Davis), Chris Stapleton (George Strait/Kenny Chesney/Josh Turner) and Jon Pardi, among many more. Backed by award-winning Nashville musicians, the album is AVAILABLE NOW under the Good Company Entertainment imprint with distribution by CmdShft.
The emerging country music entertainer from Texas builds on the legacy of country legends and modern-day trailblazers, blending traditional country melodies with heartfelt lyrics, crystal-clear vocals, and contemporary Nashville production as his foundation.
“As a touring artist, it can be challenging to find the time to write. We leaned into songwriters as our priority for this project; the songs are written by songwriting royalty. We worked to honor their craftsmanship by keeping a traditional feel and added a modern sound to the production. While I may not have had a part in writing all of the songs, each one spoke to me on a personal level. I think they’re really great country songs.”
Classic to Williams' authentic signature, the 12-song collection boasts old-school country instrumentation and Texas twang, chock-full of heartfelt ballads, shuffles, two-steppers, line-dance, heartbreak, and good-timin' drinkin’ tunes. The title track "Country Therapy" pays homage to country living and life's simple pleasures, while "Denver To Dallas" settles in for a romantic free fall at 10,000 feet. Candid conversations awaken realization in "She Ain't You" and "Diamonds Make Babies," "Heaven On A Hardwood Floor" and "Here For The Beer" are dancehall favorites.
Wynn made early introductions to the project with the release of “Denver To Dallas” in January, followed by "Heaven On A Hardwood Floor" on May 30, 2025.
