The annual observance remembers important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. Please join us in celebrating history, community, and work towards service and action as we highlight the continued IDBEA work at Wagner.

BLACK STUDENT ASSOCIATION (BSA)

The Black Student Association (BSA) provides various support mechanisms and increases social networks to students of color at Wagner. BSA enhances the educational and social experience of Wagner students and the broader New York University community through forums focused on issues pertaining to the African Diaspora in the United States. You can connect with BSA by following them on Instagram, and by joining the WhatsApp group chat.

NYU MLK WEEK 2024

NYU MLK Week 2024 is February 5-9 2024. For the 19th consecutive year, NYU will commemorate Dr. King’s visit to the University Heights Campus in 1961 and honor his legacy by hosting a week-long schedule of special events.

POWERING STRUCTURAL CHANGE CONFERENCE

During Feb 24-March 2,2024, the Wagner Diversity Council (WDC) will be hosting its third annual Powering Structural Change conference program that employs a racial equity and social justice lens over public service work to challenge systemic and pervasive inequities.
