Coming back to creativity

First, welcome back. We hope your first day of classes in the COVID-19 era has been as smooth as possible. The entire CIA community is working hard to make that happen.

We also have a few updates.

Our Health Alerts page is now updated daily

Things are changing quickly these days. We will be updating the Health Alerts page on the CIA website every day by 2pm Monday through Friday, and on weekends as needed. This update will include any changes to the FAQs. (Be sure and continue to check your email as well.)

Seniors: We hear your questions!

Members of our faculty and administration understand that you have many questions and concerns regarding the BFA process, Spring Show and Commencement. Please know that we are working diligently to plan for any possible contingencies and explore solutions, and we plan to have an update for you by the end of next week. Most importantly: We are fully committed to ensuring academic continuity so that you will be able to graduate this semester.

Watch our video chat with Grafton, Matt and Kathryn

President Grafton Nunes was joined by Kathryn Heidemann, our chief academic officer, and Matt Smith, student life and housing director, in a conversation about the first week of the College's response to COVID-19.

Let's take care of each other

We know this is a stressful time, and we hope you're doing well. If you know of a student who is struggling, physically or emotionally, please reach out to whomever you're most comfortable talking to or drop a note to the CARE Team on myCIA.
