On July 15th, the community gathered at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park for a day of pickleball and advocacy in support of adults with disabilities. Thank you to our sponsors Shady Rays, Atria Senior Living and Carpet Specialists for their contributions and involvement. We are truly grateful for your faith in our mission! Thank you to KJ's Kitchen Kreations for the delicious food that helped to make the day even more special. We are so appreciative of our community partners and friends who help make it all possible.
At Day Spring's Chop Shot The 'R' Word pickleball tournament, all were welcomed and included. Together, we truly did
chop shot the 'R' word!

July marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, laws that broke down barriers to inclusion.
Disability is a part of the rich tapestry of human diversity, and something that nearly all of us will experience at some point in our lives. All disabilities and their intersecting identities should be acknowledged, valued, and respected, and one way to do that is during Disability Pride Month.
Day Spring is proud to recognize this important month and we encourage you to do the same.

Welcome to our New Board Members! |
|
|
|
"We are so excited to welcome five new board members to the Day Spring Board of Directors for FY24. They are: Beth Barrett, who is returning after a year off the board; Hailey Culp, who works with Volunteers of America; Clif Freeman, a Managing Partner at VACO; Glen Kalley, an account manager for Patterson Pope and also the parent of a resident; and Tom Sims, an Executive VP for CBRE. Collectively they bring a tremendous amount of expertise and energy with them to help round out a board that is committed and responsive to the needs of our residents. We are excited about what this board can accomplish over the next year."
