Grand Valley State University Alumni Association E-News
AUGUST 2020
Since 2003 alumni have volunteered at GVSU Move-In, but this fall needs to look different. We won't be asking you to come to campus like usual, and I'll truly miss the camaraderie and memories that would have been made.
Instead, we have new opportunities to help our students this year. One way is to purchase a commemorative 2020 Move-In t-shirt that includes a gift to the Student Support Fund. The other is to volunteer with our new initiative,
Project Pen Pals, and write encouraging notes to students throughout the year.
Community is as important as ever. Let's still use this fall as a time to welcome the newest Lakers into the Grand Valley family.
