Congrats to Parent Educator for 25 Years with BEGINNINGS!

Our Parent Educator, Erin Lucas, is celebrating 25 years with BEGINNINGS this week.

She is just one of our amazing, highly trained and professional Parent Educators to work with families of children birth to 22 who are dealing with hearing loss. In fact, our Parent Educators have a combined total of 102 years of experience at BEGINNINGS!

How Do I Contact BEGINNINGS for Help?

Most of our families learn about us through their physicians, audiologists and/or teachers. However, if you live in North Carolina and your child is diagnosed with hearing loss, please contact us by downloading a Family Referral Form and returning it to us. One of our Parent Educators will be back in touch with you on next steps.

Volunteers Needed!

BEGINNINGS is seeking committed volunteers from all across North Carolina to join our new Friends of BEGINNINGS group! This is your opportunity to help with events and programs for families in your area; open doors to find future supporters; and participate in an ongoing conversation with our Board of Directors about BEGINNINGS. There will be two opportunities to gather in person per year, plus other opportunities to make a difference as we serve families of children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
For more information on how to apply, please email Ellen Fort, Director of Development & Marketing.
