Hello, dear Literacy Together community! We are finally back online. Our staff is safe, and we’re slowly connecting with the rest of our community. Our hearts are breaking watching the destruction unfolding here in Asheville and across the region. Our mountain haven, with its natural beauty and strong community, feels deeply wounded. Seeing how the neighborhoods and communities are coming together has been heartwarming. We’ll get through this! We love you and are so happy to call Asheville home. Our office will be closed this week; we have no water or Internet. Our annual picnic on October 5th will be rescheduled. We’ll be in touch! Please let us know if you're safe and if your student is safe. Let us know if you need anything! We'll be happy to connect you with the resources you need. Email LuAnn at LuAnn@lit-together.org or Laura at Laurabernhein@gmail.com. Please take care of yourself. We got this! Sending love and support to everyone 💗
