Yanghyo (Rod) Kim, PI and ECE Assistant Professor, received a NASA award of $390K for his project “CMOS Digital Ground Penetrating Radar with Hardware Embedded Artificial Intelligence for Sub-Surface Exploration” (with Jet Propulsion Laboratory as prime).

Weina Meng, PI and CEOE Assistant Professor, received a $3K award from PVT Clean Energy LLC for her project “Correlation between Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Lightweight Materials.”

|
Jon Miller, PI, Davidson Lab and CEOE Research Associate Professor, and Philip Orton, Co-PI, Davidson Lab and CEOE Research Associate Professor, received a State of New Jersey award of $60K for their project “New Jersey Coastal Consortium for Resilient Communities.” This is part of a larger project led by Monmouth University (prime).

Christopher Sugino, PI and ME Assistant Professor, received a DOE award of $24K for his project “Characterization of the Efficiency and Output Power of Fixed and Detachable Ultrasonic Power Transfer Demos” (with Georgia Tech prime).

Long Wang, PI and ME Assistant Professor, received a Defense Health Agency award of $361K for his project “Digital Human Model for Use in Simulation Environments for Tactile Human/Robot Interaction” (with Corvid Technologies as prime).

Lei Wu, PI, ECE Professor and Anson Wood Burchard Chair Professor, received a DOE/Federal Energy Regulatory Commission award of $225K for his project “Integrating Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Using Advanced Unit Commitment Models and DER Aggregation Methodologies” (with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as prime).
