This workshop with Dr Rui Hoo will help you clarify your research strategy and develop a personalised roadmap to achieve your short- and long-term goals. Explore ways to leverage your strengths, overcome roadblocks, and grow your research leadership.

Effective Feedback and Coaching Conversations
Monday October 27, 9:30 am–1 pm

This session with Dr Paul Donovan will equip you with practical tools for active listening and behaviour-based messaging that will enable you to successfully navigate challenging conversations and enhance collaboration and performance within your team.

Know your assessors for ARC schemes

Wednesday October 1, 12–1 pm

This session on the selection of Field of Research codes in ARC applications is particularly relevant for applicants intending to apply for ARC schemes such as DECRA, Future Fellowships, Discovery Projects, and Linkage Projects.

Solving the wicked problem of the gap from research to translation

Wednesday October 8, 10–11 am

This talk covers philanthropic culture and expectations, early translational research pathways, gaps and how NFMRI's strategy supports preclinical research to become attractive and competitive when seeking next-step partners.

GenAI is one of the newest and powerful tools in the researcher toolbox, however ethical and practical concerns remain. This workshop series aims to build skills, knowledge, and capability among researchers in the use of GenAI.
