The Big Payback Kickoff Training: Thursday, February 16, 2017
Who: Anyone who wants to learn more about The Big Payback 2017 (Limited to two representatives per organization.)
Where: Nashville Airport Marriott
When: Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 9 a.m. to Noon or 1 to 4 p.m. (The same content will be presented at both sessions.)
Why: Three hours of fun. And snacks. And some information-sharing and professional development, of course!
And don't worry, you haven't missed an email about registering for The Big Payback 2017. At the Kickoff Training, our team will walk you through our new website and the registration process. If you can't make it to our Kickoff Training, additional trainings will be offered.

Does your organization benefit from the support of inspiring volunteers?
If you answered "yes," then it's time to tell their stories! Hands On Nashville is accepting nominations for the 31st Annual Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards, Middle Tennessee's largest annual celebration of volunteerism. You can nominate an inspiring individual or volunteer group in the following categories:
  • Capacity-building Volunteer
  • Civic Volunteer Group
  • Corporate Volunteer Group
  • Direct Service Volunteers (three age categories)
The deadline to nominate a volunteer is Tuesday, January 31.

2017 Capital Campaign Survey Reminder
Each spring, we release a Capital Campaign Report to Middle Tennessee funders which provides information about current and anticipated capital campaigns.

The data from this important resource comes from your response to the annual Capital Campaign Survey. This short survey should take no more than five minutes to complete. Even if your organization is not currently planning a capital campaign, please respond to ensure the most accurate data possible. Submit only one response per nonprofit organization.

*Each organization completing the survey will be entered to win a $50 grant from The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Before beginning, have the following information on-hand:
  • If currently involved in a campaign: campaign description, financial goal, amount raised-to-date, and start/end dates
  • If planning a future campaign: proposed start date
  • If a campaign was completed in 2016: total amount raised
The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, February 17.
