After securing his fourth-consecutive Texas Regional Radio #1 hit, country music hitmaker Case Hardin releases his new single, Stoned, available now.
Stoned paints the story of falling in love with someone by just looking at them across a room. Hardin's new summer song explores the depth of emotions one feels while having an instant connection. This release is here to keep you Stoned on sweet love this season.
"Stoned is exactly that. It’s a rock-solid love song that perfectly demonstrates how it feels when you’ve found your person, and all you want to do is give them your everything. That feeling you get is better than any high or buzz you’d get from anything else. I'm proud of Stoned, with its smooth melody and lyricism. It's solid country gold in the making," says Case.
"Case Hardin's Stoned is a stone cold hit! Case just keeps turning out great music, one after another. One of the best performers in America today," says Ken Murray, PD for KHLB/KZZM in Mason, TX.
Preview the lyrics here:
Have you ever been sittin' in a chair somewhere
Looked across the room
Got caught in a stare with the perfect girl
Have you ever just wanted to walk right up
Stand there close enough that you can touch
And say the perfect words
In a sweet split second of a lightning bolt
There’s a new connection and off you go you’re
Stoned like you just had a double
Stoned like you’re 'bout to fall
No it wouldn’t be no trouble
To get so high you’d risk it all
Whoa, you’re getting kind of tipsy, just a little frisky
Looks like your mind is blown
She’s gone and got you stoned
Stoned is featured on Hardin’s latest album Lucky Him produced by Hardin and Kenny Grohman (George Strait). The album features his previous #1’s Most Beautiful Place I've Ever Been, Alcohol Abuse, When You Roll that Way and Honky Tonk Highway. The Honky Tonk Highway single and video was featured on The County Note alongside the likes of Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs and Eric Church.
Both Honky Tonk Highway and Most Beautiful Place I've Ever Been hold the record for the most radio stations to add a song in an opening week, known as a “Trifecta” single (meaning each single had more adds by country radio than any other song on the chart in that week, with the most spin increases and is the highest debut of any other song on the chart at the time).
Case Hardin Buzz
“Case Hardin is probably one of the hardest working artists in the Texas music scene. His ability to both like a song because it speaks to him, and also know how it will resonate with his fans is a great sign of things to come.” – Bernie Nelson, hit tunesmith who co-penned Honky Tonk Highway
"Well, the kid that rocks that Honky Tonk sound has a softer side. Nice to see Case drop a ballad. Stirring lyrics and a smooth melody and Case pulls it off perfectly. It's a keeper!" – Melissa Kay comments on Most Beautiful Place I've Ever Been, KYOX
"Case Hardin's Honky Tonk Highway rocks! Like really rocks! That fiddle and taste of steel guitar in there makes it a perfect country song!" – Buzz Russell, PD, KNES, Fairfield, TX
