NANCY JONES PRESENTS GEORGE JONES MEMORABILIA TO LOCAL ZAXBY'S EATERY
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 25, 2014)— Nancy Jones, the wife of the late country music icon, George Jones, visited with John Harmon (of H and J Foods, LLC and a licensee of Zaxby's Franchising Inc.) in Franklin, TN yesterday to deliver an assortment of must-see, fan favorite memorabilia from the Father of Country Music’s personal collection. Items were presented for display at the Zaxby’s restaurant located on Murfreesboro Road in Franklin (where Mr. and Mrs. Jones frequented as a local favorite). The specialty items included an assortment of historical photographs, a one-of-a-kind poster and an autographed guitar.
“George and I dined here together quite often and I still do,” Mrs. Jones said. “The atmosphere lends itself well to the country music, family-friendly format and to tradition. I’m confident patrons who are long-time George Jones’ fans will enjoy the items, while serving as a wonderful introduction to the history of country music and making new fans.”
“Mrs. Jones’ thoughtfulness is humbling,” added
Zaxby’s franchise owner John Harmon.
“George and Nancy were welcomed faces as ‘regulars’ and prominent in bringing our community; we hope they felt right at home as part of our family.”
Nancy Jones also has plans to donate items to Harmon’s second Zaxby’s franchise, located at 1108 Hillsboro Road Franklin, TN 37064, with intensions to showcase items at other Zaxby’s franchises in the coming weeks. (Additional locations to be announced.) The mutual relationship was facilitated by So Good! Entertainment (Jeff Goodwin and Suzzane Skinner)--a premiere agency specializing in marketing, production, music and events (Nashville, TN).
