Get Current - Join Raftr!

Now there’s a better way to stay in the know! Tufts has partnered with Raftr, a new social network, to help students form deeper connections with classmates and campus events:
  • Raftr is organized around your interests. Any user can create a public or private “raft” for a team, club, organization, interest, or friend group.
  • It works in real time. Find out what’s happening right now on campus, and connect with others instantaneously.
  • It’s free. There’s no fee to join or use Raftr.
  • It’s fun. Raftr will connect you with other Tufts students in a new way that’s fast-paced, intuitive, and refreshingly thoughtful.
Join Raftr today to enjoy newsfeeds, chat rooms, and current events:
  1. Download the mobile app or visit raftr.com/college

Marathon of Majors

Join over 50 departments/programs on Thursday, October 19 in the Academic Quad from 12 - 3 p.m. to explore potential majors. Faculty, staff, and students will be available to answer questions about major requirements and experiences. The first 100 attendees get a free water bottle!

3 ways to be successful at the Marathon of Majors

  1. Find a faculty member that you connect with. They should be someone who motivates you to learn more about the subjects that interest you most!
  2. Talk to students in your department of interest. Hearing from other students about why they declared their major can be really interesting and informative! Fellow students are often the best resources to learn about a department.
  3. Stay true to yourself. You should choose a major because you’re interested in the subject matter. The more you like the content you’re learning, the more enjoyable the experience will be.
